WritersLance.com is another reputable freelance site where you can bid on a job or post a job. I have four bids on the table right now.
If you choose to freelance for a living I also highly suggest Six Figure Freelancing by Kelly James-Enger. I have been reading it and she gives real world practical tried and true pointers for taking control of your freelance career. Freelance is not for everyone, however, the advice in this book does not neccessarily need apply to just writing. It can apply to many others who decide to work from home. I bought my copy at Barnes and Noble for under 16.00 USD.
